The majority of this property will stay as is in terms of reconfiguring. All the action will take place on the main floor. We are going to remove the wall separating the dining room and family room (den, 5th bedroom) and take down the wall between the kitchen and dining room opening up the entire space. We will cover up the window to the right of the door in the kitchen to add more cabinetry and install a large center island.
I always use Google Sketchup to design the layouts. Very good program for design and layout. Not too bad of a learning curve.
